In high school I interned at high end boutique Leigh's in Grand Rapids, MI. As an intern I hung, steamed, and transported new merchandise onto the selling floor, filed paperwork and fashion show pictures for the buyer, and dressed models at the Fashion Event Show which raised $2,500 for the DeVos Children’s Hospital. I learned how important presentation is, zoning and keeping the selling floor neat, getting customers excited about new products, and what the buying process is like.
